CHEMICALS

The Fotoautomat are made for black/white photos. Since the normal photo paper are ”negative paper” made for darkroom developing the Fotoautomat need to turn the negative image into positive. In a standard darkroom enviroment the negative film are exposed onto the photo paper and the picture are devoloped using developer and fix to make it stop. The fotoautomat will expose a positive image onto the photo paper and the developer will develop a negative image. The negative image will then turn in the bleach chemical (tank5) and get the final black from the toner chemical (tank 11)

6.1 Tank setup

The Fotoautomat has 14 tanks.

10.    Water
11.    Toner
12.    Water
13.    Water
14.    Water

6.2 Removal of chemicals

Empty tanks by using a small waterpump or something simular.

6.3 Mix fresh chemicals

Mix fresh chemicals by following this guide below.
use your brain and be carefull

Use lukewarm water, mix in plastic water can.

1. Mix DEVELOPER 1 with 4 litre water. Shake until solved.

2. Add DEVOLOPER 2. Shake until solved.

3. Mix BLEACH 1 with 2 litres of water. Shake until solved

4. Add BLEACH 2. Shake until solved

5. Mix CLEARING with 4 water. Shake until solved

6. Mix TONER 1 with 2 water. Shake until solved

7. Add TONER 2. Shake until solved

8. Add TONER 3 Shake until solved

Fill up the fotoautomat tanks and top everyting with water.

Make sure the tank aligment are correct

6.4 Temeperture

Make sure the thermostat are set to 30 degrees.
make sure the probe are into the Devoloper tank.
Make sure the heatingbelt or dipheater are in place.
