FLASH/STROBE

Flash System Overview

The photo booth is equipped with three flash units: two main flashes positioned at the top and one bottom flash.

4.1 Cables

Each flash has two cables connected:

a) Power supply (230V or 110V)
b) sync cable

Cable (a) supplies power to the flash unit, while cable (b) sends the signal to fire the flash.

Note: Some systems use an Optical Slave mode, where a flash is triggered automatically when it detects another flash firing.

Inside the camera, there is a microswitch that sends a signal through the sync cable, triggering the flash at the correct moment.

If a flash stops working, you can easily replace it with a similar unit.

6.2 To replace a flash:

  • Unplug the power and sync cables from the faulty flash

  • Unscrew the flash from its mounting

  • Install the new flash

  • Reconnect the power and sync cables
